Do you have the CFX_Excel tag in the Cfusion>CFX> directory or in your web directory?
I know this is supposed to make no difference
to CF, but it might to your server? Make sure it's in the Cfusion>CFX> directory.
Also, are you sure the Excel install is good?
I'm using the CFX_Excel tag with success on both Excel 97 & Excel 2000. I know this
might seem like a stupid question, but you
aren't trying to run your CF script locally instead of on the server are you? (I ask
this because everyone has done this kind of
thing sometime or another . . .some of us more often, I hate to admit).

Again, just stabbing . . .

Dave

I am game for anything. The CF service is running under my user account.
Excel was installed under my user account. I have checked the permissions
on EXCEL.EXE, and the user account has full permissions. Any other ideas?
