I've got a Dimension 4100 that I've been using for almost 3 years now (PIII 800/60gb/512mb) and it's been rock solid since day 1. My only problems were the IBM DeskStar 75gb drives that they kept sending me - I had 3 before they sent me 2 60gb - but that's not Dell's fault.

I've found the OptiPlex (business line) to be rock-solid Dimension (consumer-line)... always some weird problem. Any similar experience? Point is if Dell, I would HIGHLY recommend you go for their business-line system. Tony Carcieri wrote: >Damn, I didn't know they were doing that!
