Sean,
This is what i understand from Microsoft's documentation. In Theory
MS says there is no difference between C#.net code and VB.net code but they
also push C# and say C# is optimized to perform better.
One of our senior MS developer even proved this right.. MS says
C# is their biggest weapon against any other language...theory again..
Unfortunately it would take a lot of hard work/testing to prove all this
theory.

Example.. the code i was testing for JSP and CFM was tested on C# as well..
We couldnt time it correctly..cause a million iterations timed at 0
Milliseconds or 10 milliseconds..
and loops had to be increased to get a decent timing.
C# proved to be faster than JSP/CFM... but
these tests are not done with any given standards or variables...
How do we know accurately...C#'s time standards are the same as other
languages? Its just hard to compare 10ms and 15ms or 20ms without perfect
given conditions/variables.

It would be really great to have an independent/unbiased testing group that
validates
all this theory software corps come up with.
