Ahh... well -- he mentioned the parameters not being in the same order, so I was just following up on the other known existing issue with his code -- didn't really read into the error. It's true that updating mdac won't help the dbvarname issue -- that's why I said updating MDAC wasn't a bad idea but wouldn't solve the issue I identified. I didn't mean to imply that there wasn't anything else necessarily going on or that the mdac reasoning was bad. Sorry if it came across that way.
