Some people may reply with numbers, but if I were you I would hesitate to
quote any numbers to your client until the application is built and you have
load tested it.  There's simply no other way to gauge how any specific
application may perform under load.  I know that some clients insist on
knowing how much load it can take, but without testing it, there is
literally no other way to tell.

Also, there use to be a CF5 Preformance Brief similar to the CFMX one found
here:
http://www.macromedia.com/software/coldfusion/whitepapers/

If you can't locate a copy of it, let me know, I think I may have one saved
on my home machine (but I will have to get it tonight).
