Not exactly what you were looking for I think, but, just FYI, I did wander across the protocol spec for ICQ once upon a time (put together by some Linux folk making open-source versions of ICQ for Linux) and, as far as I know, it is theoretically possible to take my two COM objects udpclient and tcpclient and chat directly with ICQ. That is, you could make a cf page that essentially acted as a real ICQ client (directly send a recieve messages through the ICQ network.) Not saying it would something you could put together over the weekend :) but... it's an option. I think. --min ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
