I have built an application using frames with a navigation bar in the bottom frame. The user gets a list of files available for viewing. Most are in PowerPoint and are in various locations (on web servers). When one file is selected, the navigation bar allows the user to select "Previous" or "Next" to view the files which display in the top frame. We use IE 6.0, but I've had this problem in previous IE versions also. The first PowerPoint slide opens correctly in the frame, but the next and previous slides will not open unless I have PowerPoint running in the background (open it then minimize it). This is unacceptable for the customer. Has anyone come across a similar problem?
