Yes CFMX and BlueDragon (and CF5) can all peacefully co-exist on the same machine.
CFMX has a built-in web server that runs on port 8500 by default. BlueDragon Server has a built-in web server that runs on port 8080 by default--as long as you don't have anything already installed using port 8080 (such as Tomcat) you'll be OK. You can also specify a port other than 8080 when installing BlueDragon. The only conflict to watch out for is when you go to install a web server adapter to IIS or Apache--in that case you can only have one of BlueDragon/CFMX/CF5 attached to the web server.
