Is there any way to check to see if a webservice exists before you call it? We have a application on a shared server, and as far as we can tell whenever the webservice can't connect to the remote server, it creates a server-crashing thread that eventually brings ColdFusion. It's on a shared box, so we're in a panic trying to get it fixed...any ideas?
