Someone forgive me for saying this, but you could try building the
functionality in PHP and call the page via CFEXECUTE.

There was a problem posting headers in CF5 that I couldn't work around.
After doing some digging, I found I was able to build out a reliable
solution in PHP that fit right into my framework.
