Is that it? Do I need to set additional permissions up for the user CF is 
running with? That still doesn't make sense to me, if that is the case, 
because I specify a user in the cfftp code and I would think that user 
should be the user that needs the appropriate permissions. Any thoughts?

if he's logging into an ftp server via cf... I wouldn't think that would 
matter, no?
