I followed this thread and it works fine for me in Flash MX(exporting to Flash 5), I used option 2(if it matters) http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/ezmlm/ezmlm-cgi/1/62096 Basically, I'm working with a ton of images in mc's with linkage id's and not exporting on first frame, so I can have a preloader.
Co-worker is editing in Flash 5, and I guess all mc's default to exporting to the first frame. Preloader doesn't work while testing.
