I personally store it on my computer at home/work, with a cryptic name like old_recipes.txt or whatnot. I copy and paste into a text field and set as a session variable when I'm working with decrypting cards. Of course, this makes it impractical to use in a situation where you'd want to store a customer's card and let them return and use that card without entering it again. In that case you'd have to store the private key on the server and then the whole encryption thing is moot. -- Bud Schneehagen - Tropical Web Creations, Inc. _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ Web Based Solutions / eCommerce Development & Hosting http://www.twcreations.com/ - http://www.cf-ezcart.com/ 954.721.3452 - Toll Free: 877.207.6397 - Fax: 954.721.7493 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
