The only other thing I would have to add to this is that you should really read through the documentation for MX, if you decide to go that route. Reason being is because some of the pre-MX tags and functions are deprecated. And in some instances, tags and/or functions, pre-MX, may work differently in MX. If you do decide to go to MX, read the "Migrating ColdFusion 5 Applications" booklet that comes with MX. I know you're not using 5 yet, but the same rules should apply.
