Clicking the unsubscribe link leads to this:

"You have requested to be unsubscribed from the CF-Talk list. To complete this
action, you must enter your password below to make sure that this is not being
done to you maliciously. If you do not remember your password, you can have it
emailed to you from here. We hope that your leaving the list will only be
temporary and await your return."

(I've got a password at HOF?)  You can have the password emailed to you,
although you'll have to enter the email address used to subscribe to the list.
But the only reason I can think of for a customized unsubscribe link is when
someone can't remember which email address they've used to subscribe...
