Okay. I am stumped here. I have tried for three days applying 8 years of
my knowledge and I can not figure this out. I do not think this is a
ColdFusion Studio problem, more of an WIndows problem.
I replaced an old Windows 2000 with a new, more powerful Windows 2000
server. Now, when my user save files on that server using ColdFusion
Studio 5, they some times get the following error:
Error #64. Unable to save file D:\<paht>\<file name>.htm
#64 usually refers to access denied in Windows.
I have check all permissions, gave users admin rights (just for testing
right now), moved the server to a different switch, and yes, I
googled. This occurs every now and then. Sometimes they can go for hours
without getting the error. And when they get the error, they all get this
error for a few minutes. Then, everything is back to normal for another
few hours.
Also, they have been getting an error like "This file has been modified by
another user. Do you wish to reload?" They get this when none else is
using that file.
As anybody else every got this error before?
TIA
Jacob
