Troy, Mach-II came out of an initiative by Hal Helms, Ben Edwards and others to develop a version of the Fusebox Framework to take advantage of the new features and capabilities in ColdFusion MX.  What actually happened is that Fusebox 4.0 was created in order to continue the evolution of Fusebox for procedural development and Mach-II evolved as a pure ‘OO’ Framework needing and taking full advantage of the enhanced xml capabilities and CFC’s in CFMX 6.1.  That’s a quick history.

Mach-II looks entirely different to Fusebox and takes advantage of Implicit Invocation methodologies.  In my opinion Mach-II truly enhances the use of CFC’s and establishes a really logical way to take full advantage of them.

Two good places to look: -

You can get information, the framework and sample applications here.
