not sure.....if he gave you the same permissions that he has (which should
be dbo) then there shouldn't be any difference.

      That was the way our Admin guy insisted he had imported the database
and I assumed he had done it ok.....
Anyway I got him to give me permissions to try later last night from home
and lo and behold it worked first time. No idea what he was doing
differently, if he was using the same procedure to import the database could
the different accounts/permissions (his and mine) cause this sort of error?
