I know a lot of it depends on the types of projects you do.  In my
current job doing government/military work, we don't have need for
multimedia-type apps and my current employer isn't producing any Flash
RIAs yet, so all of that stuff is void as well.  However, in side work,
I've had a lot of need for the stuff on the DRKs.  I guess each DRK
release is different and each one could be perfect for what you need or
a complete miss.  I guess it mostly depends on what you're looking to
get out of it.

Our Company gives all the CF developers a Devnet Professional
Subscription xD, which is great. That said it really depends on your
needs. My opinion you need to do the math (does upgrading and buying
what you need cheaper than the subscription) and if you went with the
subscription will you use the tools.

The DevNet Resource Kits are awesome and highly usable. and certainly
having upgrades for covered definitely is nice. Also having all those
dev servers is great.

So I guess yeah its worth it, but then I don't have to pay for it.

Subject: Question about Macromedia DRK subscription.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has subscribe to the DRK's. I was wondering if
you

could tell me are they worth the cost.

I am interested in the CF content and the Flash content. Also does
anyone
know

if there are plans to include some JSP content or maybe JSP tags that CF

developers can use.

Thanks

Mario
