Now Tony, I think thats a bit strong! Some companies employ people to know
exactly whats going on with the DB. More a reflection of the value of
information and the critical nature of certain systems rather than over
zealous DBA's.

I never said or meant to say whether stored procedures looked better. By
neater I meant in the sense of overall app structure. When a stored
procedure encapsulates a series of statements into one it does tidy things
up. This also separates the <CFML> from the PL/SQL or whatever DB you're
using.


I wasn't aware we were entering our code into beauty pagents either. I
better make some changes. Ive added a few comments:
