Most people send an image embedded in the HTML newsletter, whose src is
http://somesite/somepage.cfm?mailerid=x&recipid=y&[EMAIL PROTECTED]
com or similar to that
That way each mail app will download the image and as it displays the
message. Unless of course you're running a mail client (such as outlook
11) which suppresses images if you want, until you explicitly enable
them per message.
