UNION is your saviour, and you can even do it with a QofQ:

<cfldap ... Name="ldap1" />
<cfldap ... Name="ldap2" />

<cfquery dbtype="query" name="ldap">
    SELECT *
    FROM ldap1
  UNION
    SELECT *
    FROM ldap2
</cfquery>
