Also I believe Access has a "concurrent users" limit of 6 or something really low

  however it strikes me that perhaps your access client storage tables are
  corrupt... or perhaps you have trouble with the allocation for the tables
  and they can't grow anymore; out of space on the disk or other similar problem?
