Some countries pay peanuts to their programmers.
Hence Linux and other free programs.
They showed no respect to Vishnu and should ethically have NOT written to the list and politely replied to him in private.
Personally I think it is disgusting the way he was treated. And I demand an apology on his behalf.

I am not condoning any kind of piracy (here or anywhere else). I just tried
to explain that my reply was born out of the understanding that there are
people out there who have to think twice before investing an amount of money
that seems trivial to most of us. Ence why I suggested a different, legal
and honest approach to Vishnu.
