Network problem, session aborted due to internal error in remote
procedure call, connection closed.
Our database is a bit convoluted. We link from CFMX 6.0 on Windows
2000 Server to a COBOL system on another server. The link goes through
an Access database then to the local COBOL ODBC drivers to the actual
COBOL server (the reason being that we have other problems when just
using the ODBC drivers).
Has anyone every seen anything like this?
I searched on google and found:

which says:
2217 Network problem, session aborted due to internal error in remote
procedure call, connection closed.
Cause: An internal error occurred.
Action: Contact DataDirect Technologies technical support.
