Autoincrement feature with MySQL?

I am converting from MS Access to MySQL.

Does anyone know how do you get the autoincrement feature with MySQL

With MS Access that seemed to happen automatically with the "INSERT INTO"
function. "INSERT INTO" gives a "Duplicate entry" with MySQL.
