and im sure u can work something out to use it even if the main site is on a windows server.
i have 1 site there on a windows server that uses a mysql db on a linux server & i have a site on linux that uses an access db on a windows server. so id say its possible.
u should call them tomorrow moring and talk to jamie price and im sure he will take care of u.
If he comes online tonight i will ask him.

or of course u can call anytime or go to their site and launch the chat window and speak to them directly
they have crap loads of servers so if u need a windows box of course they are available as well.
they have info pages on there that show u their server rooms and backup generators and such, pretty amazing.
now, just fyi~ smarterlinux.com & hostmysite.com are the same, just that the linux servers are a bit cheaper and less ppl on them.
