Too true. I just cleaned out my mother-in-law's (fully patched XP SP 2)
computer.

When asked "Would you like to see your weather updated to the minute?!" she
said "yes". When asked "Would you like your clock updated to the second?!" she
said "yes". When asked "Would you like to be able to search faster and better
and smarter?!" she said "yes". When a flashing ad claimed "We've detected
malicious software on your computer, click here to repair it!" she clicked.

How would FireFox prevent that?

(Please let's also remember that I myself am a FireFox user, tho' not
exclusively by any means. I like it. I promote it. I just don't worship it.)
