You might set a hidden form variable whose value is the IP of the submitting visitor. If you find the spammer is using one or just a few IPs each time, you could catch those on the result page and stop the form processing. That's what I do for my 404 pages, when a spammer/hacker is looking for non-existent scripts on my site, to prevent my in box from being flooded with irrelevant 404 alerts. ------------- Regards, Bob Haroche O n P o i n t S o l u t i o n s www.OnPointSolutions.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Silver Sponsor - RUWebby http://www.ruwebby.com Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:187203 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
