One the the biggest advantages of CF over PHP is that the interface to any database does not depent on the type of database. There are no calls to functionalities proper to the type of database.
Then php is the only language I've seen in more than 30 years career that is so dumb that it is the programer whao has to tell the compiler which $ymbol is supposed to represent a variable ;-) Tell him if he wants to go php and HE knows php, then HE does the programing and YOU are the boss ;-) -- _______________________________________ REUSE CODE!
