I'll second X-Mail, although setting it up isn't a matter of cliking 
Run|Next|Next|Finish. It does just about everything you could want, but there 
is a bit of a learning curve before you can create a base configuration. I 
would still recommend it, though. The only thing it doesn't do is IMAP, but you 
can link it with an IMAP server on *nix if you like.
