I don't know about CFLib...never used it. The question would be what benefit would their be to registering...I would certainly like to receive an email everytime an entry is made. I can glance over the email and delete it or go to the site to flag it as important to me.
And if registration gave me a way to build a "personal" library from the entries...yes, I would register...absolutely. I would probably rarely visit the site if the site doesn't reach out to me through email...I think that's key to any site's success today.
