So, in reading up on this, looks like I can

a) use the sitemap generator that Google provides (requiring python, so 
that's out)

b) use a third party generator (I'm leery of the code generated and 
whether it is 100% correct)

c) write my own (time consuming, but the only way I can 100% sure it 
works correctly)
