    I need a math formula that will tell me what 'X' is.
    
    Example:
    75 is 80% of X
    100 is 25% of X
    
For your specific examples, you want:

If y = n% of x, then y/n% = x ...
75/80% = x
75/.80 = x

or
100/.25 = x
