Wow! I'm impressed! I've been running virtual servers all along! :o) Thanks for the clarification Dave...
Do you (or anyone else) know anything about Windows Web Server Edition? I think the cost is good and I could go ahead and setup another full server, hardware and software, and run CF 7 on that for a full testing environment. -----Original Message----- From: Dave Watts [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, June 16, 2006 6:04 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: Which version of CF should I download? > I just need IIS to do what IIS 5 has been doing on my Win 2K Server. > It may not even be IIS 5.1 (can't figure out where to get that info). If you're using Windows 2000, you have IIS 5.0. If you're using Windows XP, you have IIS 5.1. You can only run multiple virtual servers with IIS if you're using a server OS. So, you can run multiple virtual servers on Windows 2000 Server, but not on Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Professional. > So, I'm not talking about multiple virtual servers (I don't > think...) You can only do that with IIS if you're using Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003.
