Dave, I think no one is really disputing your stance that Macs are superior to Windows/aka PCs in several areas. But as Mike said somewhere in the thread, most developers support a platform on the basis of simple economics... its not about which platform is better, its about where the potential customer are and what most of the customers are using. Btw, how's the Mac biggies like Claris, ACIUS 4D, Blyth Omnis7, Provue Dvlpmnt, Farallon, Survivor Sftwr, etc... (to name a few) doing nowadays? I wonder.. ;-)

Ya know mike, Its not my fault you had to go get all upset cause rick and I were kidding around, Im not fighting their fight but obviously u cant think for yourself since your life depends on what others do or use. So most of the web users use ie so should we all pee ourselfs and go back to using ie cause everyones using it, it must be the greatest thing ever, damn we must be missing out!!!! screw ff!!! damn who wants a better faster more secure offering... If windows users can put forth their opinions and so forth for windows then so can i and the mac or linux users as well, hell I gotta listen to your bad deal hosting ramblings all the time. You know u go off and have a hissy fit over rick and I kidding around and ya know what? I get sick of you always jumping up and pushing your hosting, let your client on here do that because you are doing just the same as what you are bitching about. I think the proper term you shoulda "tried" to use is: "no one cares about mac users or mike hosting services..." ~Dave - formerly known as "the disruptor"~ ---------------------------------------- From: "Mike Kear" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, June 21, 2006 7:15 PM To: CF-Talk <cf-talk@houseoffusion.com> Subject: Re: Sticking with CF... YAWN!!! I am involved in a music club, and there is one pain in the neck who sells second hand Macs for part of his living and whenever I go to the music club, he's there. Because he knows I have something to do with computers in my life (although he's not too sure what) he feels he has to tell me once again how superior Macs are. All I want to do is play my guitar with some terrific folks, but he has to tell me how superior Macs are and how invulnerable they are to viruses and how easier they are to use and how better they are cos they dont have the confusing two buttons. I've told him I dont care a damn and that my customers use PCs to a factor of 10 to 1 so that's what I use. But it doesnt make a blind bit of difference to him. He's fighting Apple's fight for them, and frankly Apple might win the war or it might lost but i dont care. I'll use whatever technology makes the most sense and whatever my clients want me to use. It's up to Apple to stay afloat and not ask me to. Why Dave has taken on the fight like he's an Apple employee, I dont know .. but I agree with Al Everett - we dont care ok? it belongs somewhere else.
