I'm struggling with this same thing. But I actually TOOK the test in May and they STILL got my certification level wrong. They've got me listed as Advanced MX developer instead of Advanced MX 7 developer. Big difference you know?
I opened an incident ticket on the 21st and still haven't even heard back from anyone. I think I'll drop an email to Matt. <!----------------//------ andy matthews web developer certified advanced coldfusion programmer ICGLink, Inc. You might recall that when Adobe imported the Macromedia certification records into their own database, they lost the fact that some of us had Advanced certification - we were all asked to confirm we had just plain ordinary certification. After a year of the Adobe era, I was becoming concerned that my Advanced certification was being devalued by Adobe through their inattention, so I asked if anyone had a name of a person I could contact. Brian Simmons gave me a name and I made contact. Well as a result, I had an email on 12 July from Matt Bertolami at Adobe, telling me the following:
Initially there was a problem when we migrated the MACR database, but your Advanced CFMX certification is listed in Integral 7 now. Looking at your account, I see you did create a new username and password. If you login now you will be able to download the correct logos and I will have a replacement kit sent this week. We were forced to remove the developer locator due to the CAN-SPAM law. We have a new solution to satisfy this law but it will take time to implement. If there are other people who were incorrectly classified please have them contact me directly.
So .. .if you have Advanced certification and want to use the Advanced logo, contact Matt at I dont know what might be in the replacement kit because it hasnt arrived yet, but I changed the logo on my site and in my resume to the Adobe one at long last.
