He is right .. it doesn't have to be an IP address, basically, we offer single licenses and enterprise licenses, enterprise license are unlimited PER SERVER. When a SiteDirector shopping cart is registered, it goes out to the quilldesign.com website, gets the registration code that is dynamically generated, then saves it into the shopping cart system. Since the enterprise version is unlimited, we do not restrict the number of licenses that match up with the order. So we were wanting to pass back some UNIQUE identifier so we can see that the registration for the enterprise version is coming from the same machine. Our first simple thought was "Finding Server IP" .. but I see that can be alittle radom at best. But if there is another way of simply sending a unique identifier per server that would be great.
