I don't think you did understand what he said. "I'm not saying there aren't any good reasons to migrate from MS SQL Server to MySQL" He's saying there are (or would/could be in a given situation) good reasons for making the move. Your response: "Dave, I can think of plenty of reasons to migrate away from MS SQL."
