The sifr 3 beta is out, and I've been using it for several months now
with no problems. I highly recommend switching to it since it's much
easier to implement sifr now. Here's the link (since it's very hard to

To use sifr, you create a Flash movie with the embedded font, but you
also need to put some sifr styles into your style sheets and add some
JavaScript to the page to dictate which pieces of text you want
replaced and how you want them to look. The documentation isn't very
good right now, but if you know JavaScript you'll be fine, and if not
(like me), Mark Wubben is very responsive to help requests via both
email and the forum.
