Chandan, Thanks for the reply. Yes, this is happening after applying hotfix2, although I have another server that I have not applied the patch to that I can reproduce the issue on as well.
That being said, I'm not convinced this is a CF problem, because I get pretty much the same result trying to FTP the file using the Windows command line FTP client, and also using Internet Explorer to try to fetch the file. However, I don't believe those clients use passive mode so maybe that's the problem there. I suppose it's possible CF is not using passive mode when I tell it to? Is there anyway to trace what's going on in the CFFTP (to see the raw commands it's sending)? My server config is: Windows 2003 SP 2 IIS 6.0 CF 8 hotfix 2 I tried changing the JRE to 1.6.0 update 3 but that didn't help.
