We have two instances of CF8 set up on the same server to serve an
application so we can throw 2 gig of RAM at it.. 1 gig per instance.
Both instances have the same settings near as I can tell. We noticed
that instance 1 was getting loaded up so we changed the cluster
mechanism from round robin to weighted round robin, with a 3-1
weighting towards instance 2. Instance 2 now handles 3 times as many
requests, which is expected, and it handles them at an average of
about 250ms while instance 1 handles its requests at an average of
nearly 2000ms. wtf? I can't figure out why instance 1 is running so
much slower than instance 2.

We've asked some nice folks at webapper to try to explain this but I
thought I'd share the issue with the list too, to see if anyone has
any insight.
