My apologies for being a bit OT.
I'm getting this error message:
ODBC Error Code = S1109 (Invalid cursor position)
I'm running CF 4.01 on Windows 2000 Server, Access db.
This is a real estate leasing application on a company intranet that
searches the database of properties according to various criteria (area,
facilities, price range, size, age of listing, etc.). The sql statement is
parsed together from the entries on a form and then put into a cf-query with
the results displayed in another frame.
Everything has been working fine since it went live (about three weeks).
One of the criteria to search is the 'area_name'. There are twenty of these
and the user can check the checkbox on any or all of these to search in the
chosen areas.
The error message only appears when ONE particular area is checked. The
system works for all the rest.
It also works fine when this particular area is checked along with various
combinations of other features. i.e. It works okay when the 'pool' feature
is checked, but not when the 'balcony' feature is checked! It also works
with various price ranges.
Again, only one of the areas is giving me this error message, and only
with/without certain other criteria. Everything else works fine (I think
;)).
Before I go posting tons of code, has anyone had this problem before? How
does CF deal with cursors?
Thanks for any help.
