Highly recommend the Dymo LabelWriter printers. (No, there is no commercial relationship here, I just use their printers.) I've got a CF app pushing labels through from the browser to the local machine using the ActiveX that comes installed with the printer driver for the LabelWriter 400 Turbo (http://global.dymo.com/enUS/Products/LabelWriter_400_Turbo.html). The installation includes the label designer, and the code to make the call to the ActiveX, setting dynamic variables in the label as it goes. Slick and pretty easy to implement.
