Yes, with Ext it's fairly easy:

var calWin = new Ext.Window({
      title: 'Calendar',
      contentEl: 'calendarDiv', // This is a hidden div
(class="x-hidden") on the page, containing your calendar
      width: 200,
      height: 200,
      modal: true,

});
calWin.show();
