Guys, I love JQuery too, for DOM manipulation. But, if you're needing ajaxified 'widgets' then Ext Js is a better choice. Not only do they have an extensive well polished and consistent library, but you can use the cfajax tags to rapid prototype an app, then build out final versions with something that looks exactly the same (since that's what they use under the hood).
