I'm still not sure what was causing CF9 to go offline and then refuse to restart after attempting to run some of the .bat files. I'm not even sure that was the problem. With this last install of CF9, I didn't use my .car files for settings and that seems to have left CF9 in a more stable state. That was my first attempt to use a .car file...and probably my last based on current experience. Thanks, again!
