I disabled all of the existing Scheduled Tasks relating to this application.
I then deleted all of the existing Scheduled Tasks relating to this application. I created a new Scheduled Task with a new name and an interval of 6 minutes instead of 10 or 7. The test results were identical. The scheduled task fires and correctly determines it should run a report so it fires a URL calling the event that starts a report. Exactly 5 minutes later another identical URL fires and starts another report. There is no indication in the Cold Fusion Scheduled Task log or in my application logs that another Cold Fusion Scheduled Task fires. There is an indication in my application log that a URL calling the event that starts a report is fired again.
