chkDsk says there are no bad blocks.. No I/O errors in the logs. The duplicate class file issue also happened on two servers (after the 8.01 update) so I don't think thats I/O related. I am leaning that way aswell though, since this is just a bit to bizarre... I'll run chkdsk and report back..
