Tom, Your grid questions are really better served by going through the Sencha Ext JS documentation (http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#), the Sencha Ext JS Forums (http://www.sencha.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?81-Ext-Discussion), and maybe a book (see the link in the signature block). I'm not trying to put you off at all, but CF-Talk is for ColdFusion specific related discussions (for the most part), and you're really looking for more targeted answers than you should find here.
